When we gather,

We come together to sing songs of worship and learn from the Bible.

We try to live our lives worthy of those who are called The Church.

We greet one another with warm smiles and friendly faces.

We rejoice with those who are celebrating.

We comfort those who are hurting.

We focus on Jesus.

Frequently Asked Questions.

And maybe some you haven’t thought of.

+ What can I expect when visiting Catlett Assembly?

There will be warm smiles. So many warm smiles. You can expect to feel welcomed and accepted. We know that visiting a new church can be a little intimidating. We will not embarrass you, make you stand up, bug you for money, or ask you to do anything else you feel uncomfortable with

+ Will I be asked to fill out a “visitor’s card” or stand or raise my hand during a service indicating that I am a visitor?

No, we do not wish to put anyone “on the spot” in that manner. You will find that most of the people in our congregation are very friendly, and it is quite likely several people will introduce themselves to you. We realize some people prefer to visit with and keep to themselves until they decide whether this is a church they are interested in attending, so we will respect your right not to be put in the spotlight.

+ What do I wear?

Some wear their ‘‘Sunday best” and others were jeans. Don’t let an imaginary dress code keep you from showing up.

+ Where do I park the car?

We have two parking lots that are steps away from the front door. The main parking lot is right next to the church building on Fernridge road. Additional parking can be found on Prospect Ave. Just follow the signs.

+ Do you have children’s programs?

Yes! Check out the Catlett Kids page and download your free Books of the Bible coloring pages.

+ Do you require members to tithe?

We are totally dependent upon the free-will offerings of believers. Contributions are never solicited, but we may make it known when specific needs arise in our church and community that require financial contributions. While we do teach that tithing is a Biblical principle we hold that when God motivates the believer, the believer is free to give.

+ Are you affiliated with any denomination?

We are affiliated with the Assemblies of God.

+ How do I know that Catlett Assembly is the church for me?

You won’t know until you’ve joined us a time or two, met some of the folks, and experienced Catlett Assembly for yourself. No church is perfect and if go into it looking for faults you’ll find them. But if you show up looking for a church that will rejoice with you in your good times and have your back in the hard times, we’re sure you’ll find that here.
